Start your journey with flexible, online Baby Yoga Instructor Training
Our Baby Yoga Instructor Training has been designed as a 'business in a box'. Become a Certified Baby Massage Instructor Online or in person, and begin to create a career that fits around your lifestyle.
The Settled Petals Baby Yoga Instructor Training Course, accredited by FEDANT, provides both in-person and online training options to suit various needs and locations.
Susan aims to empower individuals to launch their own baby yoga businesses, offering a career that allows flexibility and joy, especially for parents looking to balance work with family life, reducing the need for childcare.
With the courses online format, you can learn from the comfort of your home, with Susan available for email support. Tailored for everyone, including health and social care professionals who wish to add baby yoga to their skillset, the course offers the flexibility of excluding the business module if preferred.
Training options include group settings or personalized 1:1 sessions, with face-to-face training offered in Belfast and across Northern Ireland. The online training, meanwhile, is accessible globally, ensuring you can participate from anywhere with internet access.
From the day you begin studying, to when you deliver your first Baby Yoga Class, we believe in a healthy work-life balance, where your work is built around the needs of you and your family. Family time should be at the centre, with work fitting around it - rather than fitting family life around work. So there are no set times to log in to study, allowing you to focus on achieving this balance.
Once you become a Certified Baby Yoga Instructor, you can set your own hours and work at times which suit you. For those with young children this can reduce the need for childcare, allowing you to continue to earn an income, focus on your own career, whilst also being present and available to your own little ones.
Support is available to students as required. You have ongoing access to Baby Yoga Instructor Course Facilitator Susan Wallace. You can email or request a telephone call to assist you during your studies. She is always happy to support you.
Students and graduates also gain access to a closed Facebook Group, specifically for students and graduates of the Baby Massage and Baby Yoga Teacher Training Courses. This provides access to peer support and allows you to become part of a larger community who are committed to supporting parents and their infants.
Becoming a Baby Yoga Instructor allows you to create a life, which works at your pace, whilst also allowing you to support others.
Working with parents during the postpartum stages, and further into their parenting journey is so rewarding. Watching friendships develop in class, alongside the development of the parent / infant bond all within an environment you created is a very privileged role.
The course supplies you with the knowledge and resources to facilitate classes and nurture the parents, so that they in turn can nurture their infants, in a non-judgmental, welcoming environment.
The training is suitable to professionals who already support families - such as Health Visitors, Midwifes, Social Workers, Family Support Workers, Nurses etc, as well as those who would like to start or add to their own businesses.
Unfortunately Baby Yoga Instructor Training remains an unregulated industry. This means that anyone can use the title 'Baby Yoga Instructor' , no matter the quality of their training (if they have even obtained training at all).
There are also no standards which course providers have to obtain in order to deliver Baby Yoga Instructor Education.
In a commitment to raising the standards of Baby Yoga Instructor Training, and due to a commitment to evidence -based practice, The Settled Petals Baby Yoga Teacher Training Course has been accredited by FEDANT.
This allows graduates of the programmes to join the relevant section of the FEDANT public facing register (optional). Parents who are considering joining your Baby Massage classes can then look up and confirm that the quality of your training meets the high standards of the FEDANT panel. By registering with FEDANT you gain use of their logo on publicity materials - offering prospective clients assurance in your skillset and quality of your training.
The course content is backed by research and child development theory. It is delivered in an accessible way using both a range of videos and written text. It is accessible to a range of learning styles. It has been developed by child development expert Susan Wallace. Susan also holds a Cambridge Degree in Education, and has facilitated a range of adult learning programmes, meaning that the delivery is of a high standard. Students retain access to the content even after course completion. They can log back in anytime to refresh their memory and learning.
Whether you're aiming to start your own Baby Yoga business or enhance your professional skills in health and social care, the course allows you to become a Certified Baby Yoga Instructor and eligible to join the FEDANT register.
There is the option of availing of flexible payment plans to ensure that quality, evidence based training is available through manageable, affordable instalments.

' So delighted I found Susan and her lovely business. I wanted to add another element to my baby wellness classes so I decided to complete the Baby Yoga Training. It was a wonderful course and I feel it really compliments my other classes. The course is all online and you are able to complete it in your own time. I found this study method very helpful and fitted in well with my busy schedule. As you don’t need to sign in to classes etc. It is important you set aside time and schedule study days. The course itself was so enjoyable and well presented. Susan is on hand to answer any questions and is so approachable and encouraging.
Thank you Susan for a wonderful course! Can’t wait to start teaching it now!! '
' I had the loveliest two days of Baby Yoga Training with Susan @ Settled Petals. Susan provided a lot of insight into the research behind how baby yoga helps coordination and the parent/baby bond which I found so useful. I feel that I have the confidence and tools now to move forward and get started with offering these classes right away. Thank you :) '
'I completed the baby yoga training with settled petals and due to family commitments I completed it online, the training was detailed and the additional units on running your own business was much appreciated, my favourite part was the videos of the poses as I’m a visual learner so these really helped and being able to be go back over them when I needed to was brilliant, I was able to go at my own pace too and enjoyed the written assignments as it reassured me I had absorbed the learning. The flexible payments really helped too! '
' I really enjoyed this training as it was so relaxed and we were immediately made to feel really welcome. The group were encouraged to share experiences and ask questions and we chatted and got to know one another over the two full days training. Susan takes time to answer any questions fully and no question is a stupid question. The training is thorough and Susan offers advice and ongoing support to ensure everyone can confidently and successfully run Baby Yoga programmes in their own communities. I highly recommend this training. '
An absolutely wonderful course. Thank you, highly recommended. '
' Susan is a great trainer, she covered every eventuality and made the subject easy to understand and the program fun to deliver. I feel confident moving forward and know I have great resources to refer back to. '
I really enjoyed studying the baby yoga course. Great to study and learn at my own pace and flexible around my work and family commitments. I am looking forward to getting the baby massage course started!
'Susan has great knowledge and is enthusiastic about baby massage and baby yoga. She has carried out so much research around the benefits of both for parent and baby. Susan was a great facilitator and I feel I have learned a lot from her baby massage and baby yoga facilitator training. These are both programmes that I will be running within my job role and feel confident to do so after the training Susan gave.
' Susan is a brilliant instructor, the the baby massage and yoga trainings were well paced, lots of useful information including session plans and her online resources are great'
' I recently completed the baby yoga instructor course with Susan and I found it excellent. Course was well laid out and easy to follow. Content was excellent. It really is as advertised a business in a box and I feel so well prepared to teach baby yoga after completing it. Susan is always on hand if you have any issues. An excellent course '
