Baby Signing is when manual signing is used with babies and toddlers to support them to communicate alongside verbal communication.  

The focus is on key words - such as milk, eat, more etc as opposed to full grammatical sentences.

Yes.  Just as different areas use different languages and avail of different accents, there are also regional differences in Baby Sign too. 

As Baby Sign Language is derived from regular sign language in can vary in differing areas. 

This Online Baby Sign Language Course comprises the option of using either ASL signs (signs derived from American Sign Language) or BSL (derived from British Sign Language). 

It does not matter which versions of signs you use, as long as they are used consistently to avoid confusion.

There are 2 schools of thought on this. 

The fist is that you start signing right away, but remain patient knowing baby will not be able to sign back for some time.
